Sara La Sala

Sara is a socio-ecological economist and currently Head of Corporate Solutions at GO2-Markets. In her role, she oversees the net-zero advisory activities carried out by GO2-Markets team to its corporate clients.

In the past years she has gained extensive experience in net-zero strategy, in addition to sustainability reporting and disclosure. She has advised global clients in their decarbonization pathway by supporting them in carbon accounting, renewable energy procurement strategy, science-based target settings and corporate climate neutrality by high-quality carbon offsetting programs in LATAM, South-East Asia and Africa.

Sara holds a Master Degrees of Science in Socio-Ecological Economics & Policy from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), with a specialization in Climate Finance. Prior to GO2-Markets she has worked in the Sustainability and Public Policy department at TIER (e-mobility) and as an ESG Analyst at ISS Institutional Shareholders Services.

Sara believes in a just transition and supports climate finance instruments and corporate sustainability as meaningful and effective tools of the private sector to tackle current socio-ecological crises.
