Purvi Kay

Purvi Kay is a Chartered Aerospace Engineer with 14 years of experience in various Civil Service Departments and the UK Intelligence Community. Purvi also has 10+ years’ experience in Cyber Security and has held various Senior Leadership positions within Government. She recently transitioned into the Private Sector and has taken up a new role with BAESystems PLC as their Head of Cyber Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance. Purvi has extensive experience in dealing with complex and top priority Cyber Security issues and leading high performing teams to deliver positive security outcomes.

She has a keen interest in embedding a security culture within organisations and is passionate about developing the right talent pipeline of security professionals, ensuring they are empowered and equipped with the necessary career and learning and development frameworks to progress their security careers successfully.

Purvi is an active mentor for security professionals and an influential advocate of diversity and inclusion.
