Global Head of Cybersecurity, Capgemini
Josh Welle is the Global Head of Cybersecurity Portfolio at Capgemini. He leads the cybersecurity product strategy, manages global alliances, and is responsible for growth of the portfolio across North America, MENA, and APAC. He recently joined Capgemini from McKinsey & Company and brings 20+ years of strategy consulting, private equity, and operational expertise to Capgemini.
At McKinsey, Josh was a cybersecurity practice leader, where he developed new value propositions and offers for clients. He collaborated closely with CISOs and CIOs, delivering numerous cybersecurity engagements for global banks and Fortune 100 companies. Additionally, during his tenure at McKinsey, he advised Private Equity firms on growth strategy and M&A, leveraging his background in startups, both as a Founder/CEO and Advisor.
Josh is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Truman National Security Project and holds advanced degrees from the Harvard Kennedy School and University of Maryland College Park. He earned his military commission and Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. He is a retired U.S. Navy Commander and served as a strategic advisor to NATO, European Command, and Department of Defense.
