George Totev is experienced and innovative leader with passion for Information Security, Compliance and Risk Management. He has more than 25 years of experience in software and financial industries, creating and leading various functional groups.

George is the CISO for Trustero, a Palo Alto, CA company building advanced AI solutions for GRC. Trustero AI automates governance, risk, and compliance functions such as compliance audits, security questionnaires, tailored remediation guidance, and third-party risk evaluations.. Trustero is the first to bring generative AI into the GRC space, enabling organizations to achieve and maintain compliance with unmatched speed, efficiency, and accuracy.

Before Trustero George was Director of Customer Trust at Snowflake and Head of Risk and Compliance at Atlassian where he built and scaled the function. George also ran various security and GRC functions at Visa, Goldman Sachs, Symantec, and The World Bank.

George is a board member of the Bay Area CISO council, participates in various professional organizations and advises companies on Security, Risk and Compliance matters.
