Elizabeth Simon is the Vice President of Compliance and Risk at Progress Residential, a single- family home rental company based in Scottsdale, AZ. From her remote home-office in southwest Florida, Elizabeth is tasked with developing and implementing a robust compliance and enterprise risk management program aligned with industry standards and legal requirements. Elizabeth excels in fostering a corporate culture anchored in integrity, transparency, and stringent regulatory adherence, positioning her as a respected leader in the compliance community.

Elizabeth’s multifaceted professional journey includes impactful compliance, audit, and anti- fraud roles at FirstKey Homes, Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Ernst Young, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is an ACFE Regent Emeritus and has held a spectrum of certifications, including CPA, CFE, LPEC, CCEP, CIPP-US, SHRM- CP, and is a Florida licensed real estate sales associate. Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, Elizabeth stands as a thought leader, contributing significantly to the compliance domain through speaking engagements, publications, and board appointments, such as her recent roles as Treasurer at the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation, Board Chair of the Atlanta Compliance & Ethics Roundtable, and Board Member at the Georgia Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Elizabeth is also the founder of the Central Florida Compliance Roundtable, a community of compliance professionals from the Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota, and Port Charlotte areas.
