Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing & Chief Medical Officer, BT
Richard is Director of Occupational Health & Wellbeing, and Chief Medical Officer for BT to lead the health and well-being strategy and delivery for BT Group. He is responsible for the development, strategy and implementation and culture change leading a team delivering the group OHS provision & Safety management and assurance programmes for UK and global operations.
Richard reports to the board on corporate compliance and risk. Richard has a vast range of experience from working at British Airways, Transport for London, Cathay Pacific and Capita. He won the Peter Taylor medal for his research into the impact of the London 7/7 bombings on Transport for London (TFL) station staff.
