As the co-founder and Senior Managing Principal of CYBERMinds Research Institute Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, he chairs the Cybersecurity and Information Privacy Policy Committee and is an active member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) . He collaborates with organizations to understand and mitigate privacy and cybersecurity risks through innovative research and implementing industry best practices. Dr. Perdereaux-Weekes is a recent graduate of the Florida State University Law Juris Masters (J.M) Program, specializing in Privacy and Cybersecurity Law (2024). He holds a Doctorate in Information Security from St. Thomas University (Miami, FL) (2021), a Master of Science in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University (2017), and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and International Business from Florida Atlantic University (1999). His research examined the impact of global privacy regulations on consumer willingness to disclose or withhold personally identifiable information (PII).

He holds advanced certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA International.
