A strong academic underpinning and practical experience in providing data protection and information rights advice. Previous experience includes implementing management systems to support and demonstrate compliance to data protection laws and delivery of bespoke and tailored training/workshops on all aspects of data protection matters including Information Rights and SARs, PECR & Direct Marketing, audit reports, project management, DPIAs and risk assessments, governance and compliance planning, policy and procedure production as well as breach investigations and root cause & risk analysis.

Experienced in providing an outsourced DPO & Privacy Officer roles, producing board reports through to hosting and contributing to online webinar sessions.

A successful background spanning over 10 years in the data protection and direct marketing industry with practical work experience as a Direct Market Manager & leading an Individual Giving Team in the third sector. Achieved the Postgraduate Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing following a period of distance learning with the IDM.

My strong mix of academic qualifications and practical experience provides a unique set of skills to manage compliance, information security and governance projects.
