Ty Francis

Ty Francis is LRN’s Chief Advisory Officer, and a member of the Executive Team.

He is a Welsh-American operations executive, and subject matter expert in Corporate Governance, Ethics, Compliance and Culture. Ty has launched E&C programs and forums in the US, UK, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Brazil, Singapore, Brazil, and the Middle East. He spent over a decade in New York City where he was EVP of Global Programs at the Ethisphere Institute and prior to that led the Corporate Board member business at the New York Stock Exchange’s Governance Services division.

In 2019, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business by Southampton Solent University for his outstanding contribution in the field of corporate governance and international trade. In 2017, Ty was appointed a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE), by Queen Elizabeth II, in recognition of services to business. Ty also studied at Stanford’s Rock Centre for Corporate Governance, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Oxford University’s Said Business School. Ty is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP).
