Victoria van Roosmalen

Victoria van Roosmalen is focused on empowering a brighter future and navigates others towards informed and thoughtful actions by sharing her expertise in IT, cybersecurity, and privacy-related affairs. As a CISO & DPO, she drives the information security and privacy governance at Coosto—the leading SaaS solution for content & social media marketing in the Netherlands.

She is an ambassador of ISACA’s SheLeadsTech program and serves the IAPP within the Training Advisory Board. Victoria holds various industry certifications, educates students in her areas of expertise, and participates in working groups of (new) industry standards and materials—such as the NIST Privacy Framework and EDPB guidelines. In 2019, she was recognised among 200 individuals in Europe for making significant contributions to the security and privacy sector.

Her passion for learning new things and the ever-evolving technological advancements inspire her to continuously dive deep into her crafts. As a result, this allows her to rapidly (for)see possible adverse effects and secure its aimed benefits with proper controls. Although playing safe doesn’t allow us to flourish, Victoria is determined to help others stay ahead and reveal the seemingly impossible yet possible.
