Associate Director for Latin American Policy, Electronic Frontier Foundation
Veridiana Alimonti is an Associate Director for Latin American Policy Analyst at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. She is a lawyer and Ph.D. researcher in Human Rights at the University of São Paulo Law School. Her work focuses on the intersection of technology and human rights, such as privacy and freedom of expression. Before joining EFF, Veridiana has worked with Brazilian civil organizations and was a civil society representative at the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) from 2010 to 2013. She has also been a study visitor at the Data Protection Unit of the Council of Europe in 2017.
