Var Shankar

Var Shankar is Chief AI and Privacy Officer at Enzai, which helps organizations align with AI laws, track their AI systems, and maintain compliance. Previously, Var was Executive Director of the Responsible AI Institute, practiced law in the Capital Markets and Banking divisions of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and worked on the Clinton Global Initiative. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School. Var is a member of the OECD’s Network of Experts on AI, a member of the Brookings Forum for Cooperation on AI, and Co-Instructor, along with Alexis Cook, of Kaggle’s AI Ethics course.
