Tina Verma, CFE, FCCA, MBA

Tina is an accomplished risk-management leader with extensive industry and Big4 experience in steering vision and direction for corporate risk, governance and internal audit that aligns with business strategies and the requirements of the Board and other key stakeholders. She has provided advisory services to board executives of various firms across several industries. When time permits, she writes and speaks on various GRC topics to touch upon the emerging risks in various industries and evolving responses to confront, mitigate and adapt to them. Tina was nominated as the GRC Women Head of Governance finalist globally in 2021.

Tina is currently the Global Risk & Compliance Director at Crayon. Previously, she worked as the Head of Corporate Risk at Canon and within Group Compliance & Business Integrity at WPP. Prior to this, Tina worked for over 13 years at Deloitte within financial audit, risk advisory, forensic accounting, and dispute services. Tina is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA UK) and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE USA). She is a subject matter expert on risk-management and internal controls. She has worked in multidisciplinary teams on some of the largest investigations globally in the areas of forensic accounting, business intelligence, dispute resolution, and interrogation. Tina studied at University of Wollongong, where was awarded the Dean’s Merit list award. She is also an MBA from INSEAD Business School, where she was awarded the Woman’s Scholarship award and was also appointed as the Student Academic Representative and a Force for Good ambassador.
