Thanos Vasileiou

Thanos has been working in privacy and data protection since 2017. He is a lawyer registered in the Athens Bar Association and holds an LLM in IP & IT Law from Trinity College Dublin, a Bachelor of Laws, and an MA in European Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is also a regular member of the Research Ethics Committee of the University of Macedonia, and holds a C-DPO certification from TÜV Austria.

Thanos currently works as a Privacy Analyst at iCIMS, the recruiting software platform, offering legal and operational privacy support in the execution of the iCIMS Global Privacy Program. He has served privacy from multiple fronts and environments; Multinationals, law firms, in-house counselling, external consulting, and three Data Protection Officer appointments (University of Macedonia, Hellenic Operator of Renewable Energy Sources, and Hospital of Volos). He has a strong interest in product counselling and the regulatory developments around Artificial Intelligence.
