Robert Grosvenor

Robert Grosvenor is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Disputes and Investigations practice in London. He leads Alvarez & Marsal’s global privacy and data compliance services, and brings more than 20 years of experience in advising on global and cross-border privacy, digital ethics, secrecy, records management and related data governance requirements.

With deep European and international regulatory and legal knowledge, Mr. Grosvenor has developed and deployed strategic programmes and led international compliance projects for major organisations. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including financial services, life sciences, technology, media, and retail and manufacturing.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Grosvenor spent nine years with Promontory (an IBM company), where he most recently served as a Managing Director. In this role, he was in charge of the Global Privacy and Data Protection practice. Previously, he worked at Deloitte in London and Brussels for 13 years.

Mr. Grosvenor earned a bachelor’s degree in English and European Laws from the University of Essex. He completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Nottingham Law School and is a member of the Society for Computers and Law.

He is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) with the CIPM (Privacy Manager), CIPT (Privacy Technologist), and CIPP/Europe designations.
