Merve Hickok is the founder of AIethicist.org. She is an independent consultant & trainer focused on capacity building in ethical and responsible AI and governance of AI systems. Merve is a Senior Researcher Center for AI & Digital Policy; founding editorial board member of Springer Nature AI & Ethics journal and one of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics 2021. She collaborates with several international organizations setting the global standards for governance of autonomous systems (IEEE, IEC), as well as audit of AI systems (Fellow at ForHumanity Center).
