Leanne Clements

Leanne Clements joined Carbon Tracker Initiative as Head of Stewardship – UK and Europe in October 2021.  Leanne has nearly 25 years of experience in the sustainable development field. Prior to this role, she was a Campaign Manager for the UK’s Association for Member Nominated Trustees, primarily working with key policy makers to address key industry barriers to effective stewardship for asset owners.  Prior to this, Leanne was the responsible investment lead at three different UK pension schemes, and worked at a proxy voting agency in both a voting execution and shareholder engagement function.  Prior to her career in the UK, she worked in her native Canada as an environmental consultant for a consulting engineering firm conducting contaminated site investigations for financial clients.
