Gianluca Gilardi

Dr. Gianluca Gilardi: formerly a lawyer from 2000 to 2013 and equity partner of Studio Legale Sutti, mainly dealing with assistance and civil litigation in IP & TMT matters, as well as data protection compliance consultancy for national clients and foreign multinational companies. He left the legal profession in 2013 to act as a bridge between the legal and IT worlds, dealing with the technical aspects of computer forensics in the field of legal assistance and data protection, participating as a Technical Consultant in numerous high-profile litigations relating to online copyright protection as well as protection of trade secrets and employee infidelity. He regularly participates as a speaker at conferences on topics ranging from risk management to digital reputation and the use of technology in corporate compliance. He has been the CEO of LT42 since its incorporation; besides his management duties he also personally assists clients with a particular focus on cybersecurity (especially with reference to personal data processing), data breach assessment, risk assessment & management and validation of personal data pseudonymisation processes. He is a lecturer at the advanced course in Legal Tech at the University of Milan, focusing on the theory and practice of data management and analysis.
