Associate, TLT LLP
Emma is an experienced, CIPP/E certified associate in TLT’s Data, Privacy and Cybersecurity team. She advises clients on all aspects of data protection compliance and whilst she works across all of TLT’s specialist sectors, she has particular expertise in the financial services sector, having spent time on secondment with the legal privacy team of one of the UK’s largest banks.
Among others, she assists clients with implementing privacy by design approaches in emerging tech and big data projects; building GDPR compliance regimes; negotiating complex data transactions; complying with data subject rights; managing international data transfers; and handling data and cybersecurity breaches. She often speaks at high-profile data protection conferences and is a regulator contributor to Privacy Laws & Business and Privacy and Data Protection Journals.
