Elisabeth Mackay

Elisabeth is a cyber security, data privacy and ethics consultant at PA Consulting. She has over 15 years’ experience working across UK Government, internationally and with the telecommunications and technology industries. Elisabeth is particularly motivated by unlocking the potential benefits of new technologies and data through astute analysis of their security, privacy and ethical implications. She is experienced in developing and applying policy in novel technical areas and is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in applying European data protection law. Elisabeth also has extensive experience of analysing and addressing different aspects of cyber security risk and holds (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Elisabeth leads PA Consulting’s Responsible AI community and advises major international clients on the safe, secure and trustworthy adoption of AI. Elisabeth is regularly invited as a speaker on AI policy and privacy, most recently at Gartner Data and Analytics conference and the Danish Chamber of Commerce. Elisabeth has been nominated for a PICASSO Privacy Champion award for her efforts on Responsible AI.
