LL.M. Data Governance Advisor, FASKEN
Eda is a Data Governance Advisor with Fasken’s Emerging Technologies group at Montréal, Canada office. She has a Master’s Degree in Law from McGill University where she wrote her thesis on the private enforcement of data protection laws from a comparative perspective.
In her work, she creates strategic and risk-based programs to help high-growth tech companies navigate evolving regulatory landscapes concerning privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property and consumer protection. She advises her clients on operationalizing compliance and remediating risk. Additionally, she performs privacy impact assessments and other analyses to demonstrate organizational compliance.
Prior to joining Fasken, Eda worked in private legal practice, as well as in-house positions in various industries such as EdTech, cybersecurity consulting and pharmaceuticals.
