Dr. Bobby Hsu Piao-Hao

Bobby Piao Hao Hsu is senior lead specialist for Privacy & Data Protection Compliance at TPV Technology Group, where he is responsible for both daily execution and planning of regulatory compliance of more than 80 entities across more than 17 jurisdictions.

Before joining TPV, he was Public Policy Counsel of LINE Taiwan Limited. Until April 2017, he worked as Legal Researcher at Science and Technology Law Institute (STLI), Institute for Information Industry, where he is responsible for policy research in the field of privacy and innovative technology. It is also during his post at STLI, that he started his policy research in the field of internet governance, data protection and other regulatory mechanisms favouring development of tech/ innovative enterprises, including the trends of IoT, Big Data, renewable energy and the right to be forgotten.
