Diogo Duarte is the go-to expert for full-stack data protection. With years of experience in consulting for large, complex, data-intensive regulatory change management projects, Diogo has earned his stripes as a true data protection and privacy expert. Having founded Advance Privacy, Diogo’s expertise caught the attention of the European Society for Immunodeficiencies and Avery Dennison, where he now serves as DPO and Interim Privacy Officer, respectively.

Not content with being at the forefront of data protection, Diogo is also a member of the Council of Europe Data Protection Unit’s pool of experts and a trainer at the Portuguese National Cybersecurity Academy. He is frequently invited to lecture in several data protection postgraduate courses at Portuguese universities, where his passion and knowledge for data privacy and protection inspire the next generation of privacy professionals.
