Chris McAteer has over 10 years’ experience in AML/CTF, data protection and sanctions management. Chris specialises in the implementation of compliance programs and is active in the Swiss and global DLT communities, having founded the Crypto Valley Association’s AML Task Force and co-founded the OpenVASP Association, a protocol dedicated to AML compliance. Chris teaches a course on digital asset investigations and AML for the Basel Institute on Governance and regularly represents industry interests towards the OECD, FATF and WTO. She is a Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI) and Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS).
