Agnidipta Sarkar

Evangelist EMERITUS, Agnidipta Sarkar is a subject matter expert on risk management, resilience & change governance in areas of cybersecurity, privacy protection and business continuity. Over the past 33 years he has successfully reduced operational cost, optimized risks, established resilience and reduced overheads in global programs by streamlining and consolidating activities, removing silos while remaining focused upon the rigor needed to ensure procedures are established and improved. In his current role, as the Group CISO for one of the world’s premier Biotechnology companies, Biocon, he ensures that information at Biocon at all its group companies across all remain protected globally. In the past he has successfully built & operated the world’s largest integrated management systems supporting cybersecurity (ISO27001), business continuity (ISO22301) and 4 other ISO standards. He is a passionate technology evangelist who contributes to building international standards at multiple ISO Boards for security, privacy, continuity and risk management, at BCI for cyber resilience and at Cloud Security Alliance for cloud related standards.
