Head of Functions and Business Engagement, BNP Paribas
Adam is Head of Functions and Business Engagement at BNP Paribas, where he leads a team of lawyers and experienced business professionals. He is responsible for managing the bank’s various eBanking applications and services, identifying and addressing all legal, regulatory and compliance issues.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Adam trained at Allen & Overy’s London and Paris offices, then spending several years in the IP and IT team at Slaughter and May. Coupled with a host of secondments, business experience and front office roles, he developed into a commercially minded, pragmatic and adaptable lawyer.
He has established himself as an expert in Fintech, cemented with post-graduate qualifications from Harvard University and the University of Oxford. More recently, Adam embarked on the Executive MBA at the University of Cambridge.
Adam is a keen entrepreneur, having launched, invested in and advised various start-ups across multiple sectors, including technology, sports, fashion and entertainment. Supporting several funding raises and exits, he has practical experience in growing businesses and delivering success.
Outside of the office, Adam is passionate about equality, education and sport, volunteering with various initiatives, including acting as the Legal Board Member for Girls in Tech, Non-Executive Director and Trustee for the NET Academies Trust and volunteering with the Saracens Foundation.
