In a study from My Confidence Matters, 70% of respondents admitted to regularly lacking confidence in themselves when it comes to their careers. However, the results showed a notable disparity between the confidence levels of men and women, with 79% of women compared to 62% of men citing a lack of confidence in the workplace.
Moreso, only half of the female respondents felt that if they were lacking in confidence, they would get enough support from their manager to overcome this.
This panel will look at ways for women to improve their confidence in the workplace, from attending professional development training, focusing on strengths and setting goals to boost confidence, and achieve a growth mindset to enhance their careers.
