The #Risk Awards 2023 finalists revealed

The #RISK Awards acknowledges and champions the efforts of risk professionals who have had to deal with new technologies, trends, cyber-threats, Covid, global conflict, climate change, and any number other risk factors emerging in our unpredictable and rapidly-evolving world.

Over 130 Risk professionals and teams have been named as finalists in categories including: Risk Leader of The Year; Risk Team of The Year; ESG Team of The Year; ESG Initiative of The Year; Privacy Team of The Year; Security Team of The Year, and many more.

Risk management needs to be a collaborative exercise. There’s now no such thing as “business as usual” and risk leaders need to be recognised and championed.

Niki Dowdall, Founder of The #RISK Awards explains we can ‘expect the next three years to be characterized by either consistent volatility and multiple surprises or fractured trajectories that will separate relative winners and losers.’ As such, there is rising pressure on all risk management functions.

With much work to be done, the awards will play an active role in showcasing the importance of managing risk together, and by those who are passionate about guardianship in their respective sectors.

The live evening ceremony will offer guests the opportunity to connect with their fellow attendees as part of the main prize-giving event. 

Founded by the team behind the Organizers of #RISK, finalists and winners are also encouraged to remain engaged with the programme after the final as they are welcomed into a growing alumni network where previous award applicants can connect, learn and share ideas.

The Grand Final of the Awards will be held at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, London on the 25th of April 2024.
