So far, my 15+-year career in asset management has given me the opportunity to navigate through the various steps of a portfolio investment process, by working first with a market risk software provider, then in quantitative investment research (equities), then in portfolio management (equities then multi-asset), and finally in portfolio engineering (multi-asset and fixed income). In particular, the 8+ years spent as Head of Portfolio Engineering, and then as Head of Investment Lab & Engineering, helped me develop a strong and deep vision about the use of indicators and signals in portfolio decision-making, the integration of robust portfolio construction schemes, and the reliance on the right portfolio risk and performance insights to allow proper oversight on investment processes. Turning now to a new challenge within AXA Investment Managers’ transversal functions as Chief Data Officer and Head of Data & Analytics Management, leading the in-house center of expertise with regards to data and analytics administration, quality, and governance; and working in close partnership with internal Technology teams to contribute to the design of extra technological capabilities regarding data controls, distribution, sharing, and analysis. Long story short about myself - a solid portfolio investment and quantitative analysis background, coupled with strong soft skills: a client-centric and delivery-driven mindset, a proven team leadership and people development experience, along with a collaborative and team player spirit.
