Nazia Shaheen

 Nazia is currently Head of IT Governance and Security at Volkswagen Group UK. Volkswagen Group UK is the country’s largest importer of vehicles, employing, directly and indirectly, over 1,800 people nationwide.

Nazia is a dynamic senior IT leader with extensive experience within multiple sectors, in a career which spans over two decades. A competent strategist capable of developing innovative plans and activities designed to facilitate competitive growth and superiority within IT. Nazia possesses exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and to develop positive relationships with stakeholders on a global scale. She enjoys being part of, as well as managing, motivating, training and developing, a successful and results oriented team, and thrives in delivering outstanding results in highly pressurized and challenging working environments.

Nazia scooped up two awards last year, Innovator of the Year and Women of the Year in 2023 from Women in GRC.
