between academia and industry. Currently Geetha is serving as Chief Technology Officer for Life Sciences and Healthcare Enterprise Growth Business of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In this role she is responsible for spearheading TCS Research and Innovation across Life Sciences and Healthcare customers by enabling joint collaborations with Clients, TCS Labs, Academia and Startups on niche technology areas and futuristic domain areas. Before this Geetha was the Chief Technology Officer for TCS Life Sciences Europe UK in which she was responsible for spearheading TCS Research and Innovation for Life Sciences Business Unit In the past, Geetha was serving as Chief Technology Officer, Middle East and Africa at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In this role, she was responsible for spearheading TCS Research and Innovation for this geography and had created a difference in the region by positioning TCS as a thought leader and preferred partner for innovation. Prior to this role, Geetha was serving as Principal Innovation Evangelist for the MEA region. During this tenure, she was running strategic long term co-innovation engagements with several customers in this region on areas like Smart Cities, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics . Before moving to Dubai, Geetha was a Senior Scientist in TCS Infrastructure Services lab at Indian Institute of Technology Research Park, Chennai, providing domain know-how in the development of software platforms for building energy management and wind energy prediction. During this tenure, she has authored/co-authored several publications for reputed journals and conferences plus has three patents granted and three under process. Before joining TCS, Geetha has been an academician for close to 10 years in National Institute of Technology, Trichy and Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Pondicherry. Geetha has a good track record in academics. She completed her PhD in 2 years at IIT Madras and got the best thesis award for the work accomplished. She was the branch topper at IIT Madras in her Masters and college topper in her B.E. at Saastra University.She has over 25+ reputed publications in her name. Geetha is married and blessed with two sons. She lives in Frankfurt.
