Dr. Mayya Konovalova

Mayya is a Lecturer in Accounting at University of Birmingham, specialising in Taxation, Anti-Money Laundering and International Transparency Standards. Her research interests cover a range of accounting topics around transparency, beneficial ownership, and international standards implementation, with a particular interest in anti-money laundering, taxation, and international financial centres. Prior to her academic career, she worked in the financial services industry, followed by her employment with International Compliance Association.
