Christiaan Lam

I am a servant leader with over 15 years of IT & peoplemanagement experience. Over the past years my experience grew while performing a multitude of national and international (senior) IT manager roles, both hands-on and as a manager of managers. Being a T-shaped manager, I also have knowledge of, and experience with, people management, labor law, finance, sales and delivery, coaching and leadership development. My personal interest and focus are in the combination of IT and people-management, including change management, company culture and Agile/Spotify. I am also a Certified Scrum Product Owner and experienced and qualified in using psychometric tools in staffing, teamwork and communications. All of my recent roles have been as a senior manager on the cutting edge between IT- and people-management for organizations in different phases: growing, shrinking, innovating and changing. Hence, I have a broad experience with cultures and structures, and what does and does not work for specific teams. Also, topics like motivation, strategy and team composition bring out the best in me. Due to my broad experience, I consider myself an apt sparring partner on all levels of the organization, able to connect with professionals and corporate leaders. As a person, people characterize me as being positive and energetic, with a getting-things-done aptitude that was inherited from my time in the military. I live in Haarlem with my wife and two typical teenagers (plus 3 cats).
