Chief Analytics Officer
Chris Cameron is a data analytics/life sciences executive and academic. Chris was a Partner at Cornerstone Research Group Inc., and helped it grow to become Canada’s largest health economics and outcomes research consulting firm, until it was acquired by EVERSANA. He currently serves as Chief Analytics Officer at EVERSANA, where he leads data analytics strategy for many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Chris is also an adjunct (scholar) professor at Dalhousie University, and has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications in many of the world’s top journals, including JAMA, Lancet, and BMJ. His research has been featured in the Globe and Mail and New York Times. He was recently named one of the most prolific authors in the world on indirect treatment comparisons, and helped lead the launch of a platform for conducting ITCs. He also has considerable experience in the public sector, working or consulting for major international health technology assessment agencies including CADTH and ICER. He is a passionate advocate for hiring talented people in remote communities. He lives on Cape Breton Island with his wife and four children, and supports other entrepreneurs in Cape Breton in businesses involving big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He is also involved in several commercial and residential real estate developments in downtown Sydney. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and an MSc and PhD in Epidemiology where he was a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar. He has his P.Stat designation and completed a fellowship on real-world data analytics at Harvard University and FDA’s Sentinel, and the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme.
