Berino Laban

Berino Laban is a NextGen cybersecurity strategist and consultant with over 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, detection, response and threat hunting. Performing multiple roles that focus on consulting, implementing and advising companies on security threats, risk and mitigation, he has led, guided and helped a number of companies undergo security operations centre (SOC) transformation journey and achieve mature SOC 2.0 status. He is a distinguished member of the inaugural Global Defender’s League. He is a core member of the endpoint detection and response (EDR) champions group in Wipro. He has represented Wipro on multiple thought leadership panel discussions centred around SOC evolution and EDR to extended detection and response (XDR) transformation. He was instrumental in creating the cybersecurity stack in Wipro’s Security Intelligence and Analytics Practice that formed the benchmark for Wipro’s SOC 2.0 NextGen cybersecurity managed detection and response (MDR) service
